Is there a workaround for WIn10 install pdftotext : Could not find executable "pdftotext". (Installed via choco)

I've tried searching for a complied "exe" to see if I could get things going for the moment. I found this version

pdftotext version 4.04 [www.xpdfreader.com]
Copyright 1996-2022 Glyph & Cog, LLC

as part of my BeyondCompare install, but I think it is a same named, but different program, because it just leads to other errors it I put it in my Windows path.

From what I see in github, the last MIT liscenced version is 2.2.2 --- but there is nothing compiled for windows that I can find, and that is above my skillset at this time.
