I see there's similar request pending on one of the dependencies of this project liamks/libpytunes#28 -- seems to be made by you :) I'm writing here with request to upload migrate-itunes-to-rhythmbox to PyPI. Could it be done?

Are you trolling me? ;-)

Basically, you're right. It would be handy to have migrate-itunes-to-rhythmbox at PyPI. But in contrast to migrate-itunes-to-rhythmbox, pyitunes is a library. Libraries are included in other applications and their builds. So having a single source like PyPi for all used dependencies is definitely helpful. However, migrate-itunes-to-rhythmbox is a script that will be used directly and won't be included somewhere else. So adding them to PyPI not that important. I claim, that it's reasonable for a user to install it via a URL. But it takes more effort to include a library (in a certain version) via an URL in the Python dependency management and build (e.g. via pybuilder).

That's why I didn't spend time for this yet. But I agree with you, that it would be useful. So I will thankfully accept every pull request for this. ;-)
