Hi Christoph, you're definitely getting close if you got the output above. I've made a few bug fixes since I uploaded the hex file you're using. Could you try the version I've just added to the repo? images/zloader.hex. When you run that it should report version 2.1.3. Pete |

Ooookay ... getting there, thanks again! I now got CP/M going :) And another question: how many disks should there be? When I start CP/M I am on drive "A". I can switch to "B", "C", "D" but when I reach "E" I get "Bdos Err On E: Select". Shouldn't there be 16 drives? Christoph |

Oh, and there is still a little quirk in Your instructions, I think:
should be
shouldn't it? Also, setting the image to '3' means that booting into CP/M directly won't work, Christoph |

Hello,
totally new to CP/M and retro computing ... I could use some starter advice...
I've got a PCB V 2.2 fully populated. So far all I have managed to do was flash 'zloader.hex' (Z80-Retro/images) into the ROM.
Nothing on the SDcard. No Raspi connected. Jumpers are set as per default. And all I get is:
Z80 ZIOS 2.1.0
2000-01-01 00:00.00
and a blinking square. Time and date never change.
The prompt in itself is kind of a success but won't keep me entertained forever.
I can't seem to enter anything here, so I don't see a chance to prepare the SDcard.
The Raspi, as I understood it, is an alternative way to boot from but I wouldn't know how to do that and I also wouldn't know how to prepare the Raspi for that role.
So, my problems couldn't be more basic, I guess. Any advice?
Christoph
