I suppose the lofty goal is to implement all methods from here under the "Website Payments Pro and Express Checkout API Operations" heading, so the answer is: yes, eventually.
My ideal code base would manipulate using the APIs directly, without any web forms redirecting to/from PayPal, etc. Not sure if that's possible, but I'm willing to try.
Feel free to fork. Contributions are always welcome.
If I have some time, I'll try to help out on this project but no guarantees.
As an aside, I find it interesting that they are finally using the x.com domain for something other than redirecting to PayPal.com. I remember when the 2 companies merged back in 2000 right around the time I joined the company.

There are a bunch of PayPal apis regarding recurring payments that I'm interested in using. Is this something that you were going to add to your sdk?
