The Vision

Remove the Identity pallet from the Relay Chain.

The Plan

Tracking issue for Rococo: paritytech/polkadot-sdk#2371

  • Make Identity Info generic
    • Add github and discord as first class fields
    • Remove additional_fields (perhaps replace with generic additional: Data that can take a hash of off-chain hosted data)
  • Launch chain with locked Identity as genesis and migrate deposits
