Check before feedback

  • I checked the other issues to ensure no one has mentioned it yet.
  • I made sure the bug can be reproduced in the SNAPSHOT application package.

Describe the bug
The stream in PIP does not close when I click on another channel with Zapping mode deactivated.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Add a playlist (no settings are modified)
  2. Click on first channel
  3. Tap on PIP button
  4. Select other channel from list
  5. See error

Expected behavior
When Zaaping mode is disabled, the play of the other channel works correctly but the PIP window remains there. If I want to close this PIP window, the new channel stops playing.

To solve the problem, it is sufficient for the application to close the PIP window instantly without changing the behavior of the next channel playing.

Screenshots
See example with two channels: One (cumbia) in PIP mode and other (salsa) open from list of channels.

Smartphone (please complete the following information):

  • Device: Galay A04
  • OS: Android 14
  • Version 1.14.0-beta14 (app) and last snapshot

Additional context
On the other hand, when Zapping mode is activated, the PIP window works properly by displaying the newly selected channel. Therefore, the problem is limited when opening a new channel with the PIP window open without Zapping Mode.
