Describe the bug

The validation message for invalid emails or phone numbers is not translatable, as the error comes directly out of the validation library and is passed on as-is to the frontend.

The message also reads a little bit weirdly.

Reproducing the bug

1. Go to sign up page
2. Enter an invalid email address
