Hi AndyLuo1029!According to the GitHub documentation on listing repository contributors, the API will return a
if
However, the exact limit for the number of contributors that triggers this error is not specified in the documentation. The limit seems to vary depending on various factors such as repository size, traffic, and API usage. However, it's likely that the limit is dynamic and subject to change. |

I use PyGithub as an API to crawl data for research. But during use of get_contributors( ) function (corresponding to
GET /repos/{owner}/{repo}/contributors
API), I got this exception:I can't find any specific limit on the number of contributors in the documentation or in the exception script. Since I will be using the data to train some models, I would like to have a specific limit on the number of contributors.
How many contributors to a repository force the API to return a "403 Too Large to List" error code?
Thanks!
