Not sure if this is a bug or a hard-to-understand feature, but I have just confirmed that the search function is returning incomplete results for the simplest imaginable search in a particular repo. I have read that some repos aren't indexed, but this one appears to be (since I get some results). The file inside which I found the extra hit isn't remotely new, either.
Would be grateful if anyone can clarify whether this is indeed a bug/fault...
The search is for the term "vulture" in the https://github.com/taleden/EDSY repo.
This link should hopefully reproduce the incomplete search results I get: 3 hits, all within lang-xx.json files: https://github.com/search?q=repo%3Ataleden%2FEDSY%20vulture&type=code
In fact, the https://github.com/taleden/EDSY/blob/master/eddb.js file also has 7 hits for the same string.
In all cases I've found so far, it's the string "Vulture" which is actually present in the repo, but this includes the 3 hits I get from the (incomplete) search, and the syntax for searching indicates that searches are case-insensitive by default...
