My organization just recently acquired GitHub enterprise, and it was brought to my attention that my commit activity is sparse. Looking into it (because no one else did), it seems to be because my
git config user.email
This is our pre-acquisition/merger email. While my authentication to GHE is done under
[email protected]
(our new transnational private-equity conglomerate). I think we should be allowed to add aliases under our profile. However, we can not. It says this..I requested our Active Directory admin add our alias, and he checked and it was there!
You can see that the alias is under "proxyAddresses" but it does not show up under my profile. Is there anyway to correct/fix this? I would love to see my contributions with
[email protected]
