Unable to access GitHub student Education account

Hi everyone,

I'm a full-time student at a university studying for a degree. I tried to sign up for GitHub Education with my email address at this URL. However, I keep getting this error message: "email" has already been used to obtain an academic discount on GitHub account(s) "username".

"email" and "username" aren't a part of the actual message, I just substituted them for my info. I'm confused because I already have an account on GitHub with that email address with a different username. How do I fix this so I can get access to GitHub Education?
