I haven't touched my hobby site with custom domain in years. It is now displaying a 404. I am trying to fix that.
I found my repo in github that was attached to the domain. The domain is still currently verified. My repo has a CNAME, and an index.html. I changed the visibility from private to public.
Then, I went on to do the following (successfully):
cloned my repo
made a minor change to the repo clone in vscode
staged, commited, and pushed
I thought that was all that was required to get the site working again?
Should I anticipate a delay of a few minutes/hours/day for the site to be refreshed and running? So far, 404 is still being diplayed.
