Cannot sync GitHub classroom assignments

Hi,
I am trying to have an assignment that I used last year be available for students and I get some error messages. The assignment has no due date and I have a template with public visibility etc. I also have no restrictions activated.
As an instructor I cannot sync. See the error message below. Students get the error message below also.
Any feedback on how to solve the issue?
