Q. How do you delete auth tokens from GitHub account? I asked because when I check Sessions GitHub CLI is not shown yet is authed and GitHub docs associate tokens with command line somewhere. Now that I have the answer I do not see any auth tokens in my account but Docs hint that gh-cli does not use auth tokens by saying "To access GitHub from the command line, you can use GitHub CLI or Git Credential Manager instead of creating a personal access token." The overall purpose of asking about these problems is the basic intention of de-authing every login to my account.

Now the questiin keeps spawning new questions. Simply how do you de-auth every login including gh-cli. The Settings > Sessions panel is useless if there are any number of hidden logins not shown.

When GitHub CLI show's a token authd with

gh auth status

still nothing show's in the web browser control panel in Settings > Sessions or Settings > Sessions > Developer options, nothing to de-auth. Presumably any number of unknown GitHub CLI sessions may be logged in because my known current session does not show.
