Branch protection currently requires specifying each check to enforce. This is tedious for projects with frequently changing checks.

Did you consider adding an option to enforce branch protection on all checks by default. This would simplify maintenance and ensure new checks are automatically included in protections.

Would this be helpful for others? Thoughts?

Your suggestion to add an option for automatically enforcing all new checks in branch protection by default is spot on. In my experience, managing branch protection rules can be quite tedious, especially when you have a lot of checks that frequently change.
