for the last week no matter what i look for on git hub even waiting in some cases the next day any search i do i get You have exceeded a secondary rate limit.
How do i get around from what i see is a permanent block for searching on Github?

because duplicates dont fix the issue by the way its still the same two weeks later and not fixed

    Posting duplicates wouldn't either.
    And it makes things harder (for bad aggregation), were it planned be fixed.

    However, you have your right to express your frustration in the manner you like.

Exactly, a book example of their hypocrisy. Maybe every time they create a duplicate-thread, we should point it out to them by their own words: "It's not helpful to create X duplicated threads" because "it doesn't fix the issue". Besides, providing links to already existing duplicate threads is helpful at least partially, like I already mentioned in previous comment.

yea good to see the issue is still not fixed , yesterday was working away all day on a project not an issue. this morning 10-16am GMT same old issue i even tried on my mobile via mobile data , Come on Github your site is clearly broke , fix it

Obvious its too hard to fix the issue as its still the same 2 weeks later that or the devs at Github don't read the posts or this would be fixed.
1 . VPN on or off issue is there
2. any device its there
3. multiple locations and mobile data from 3 different providers issue is there

It's been a long time since I visited GitHub the last time (and I have never been been a frequent visitor), and now I immediately got "You have exceeded a secondary rate limit" when I tried to search the GitHub page of a certain piece of software. I'm sorry if this is not a useful comment, but I wanted to bring up that this isn't happening because of visiting the site a lot.

It's an issue that's way taking way to long to fix. That or they can't fix it.
In a different country Sunday until today and I was getting the same stupid "You have exceeded a secondary rate limit"

Getting a real pain in the bottom 3 weeks now can't search for a thing even by name
