Start by identifying a project that aligns with your company’s goals, then determine the sponsorship level and amount that fits your budget. If your company doesn’t have a GitHub account, create one with the necessary company information. Next, visit the GitHub Sponsors page to select the project, choose the sponsorship type, and enter payment details, ensuring they meet your finance team’s requirements. Prepare documentation outlining the sponsorship's purpose and expected benefits for internal approval, and once secured, complete the process on GitHub, keeping transaction records. Promote the sponsorship internally and on social media, and stay in touch with project maintainers to ensure your support is making a positive impact. Following these steps can help your company successfully sponsor an open-source project. I guess that's all for the beginning if you want i can label you here a page of the computer science club that i've participanted: https://github.com/KSIUJ |

Question
Can someone share the process they went through to sponsor an open source projects from their company (not individual) via GitHub Sponsors? I have not been able to find clear instructions that satisfy our finance team. Thanks.
