vs 2022 cant use copilot chat
something wrong:
win10 x64 Microsoft Visual Studio Community 2022 17.10.2

I´m getting the following.. when going to https://api.githubcopilot.com/chat/completions I get 405 (Method Not Allowed)

I didn't make any updates, but today I was suddenly able to use Copilot Chat again. I believe the error 405 might have been caused by a server-side misconfiguration.

hi Anyone can't use right now? I used vscode copilot and now "Failed to make request" and can't use copilot to generate coding. please help~~~~~~

i had the same issue earlier today after updating visual studio. go to windows credentials in control panel. (User Accounts, Credential Manager, Manage Windows Credentials) remove all the github credentials in that list. when you restart the IDE you should be signed out of copilot, now remove the github account from here(in the top right). re-add the accountand then restart the ide. this is what did it for me.( i am on 17.10.4 vs)
