Waiting For Github Authentication | Device Activation is not getting completed in IntelliJ Idea | Github Copilot

Hi There,

Tried to sing in to Github to activate copilot in IntelliJ Idea. Device activation completed successfully but looks not sending confirmation back to IntelliJ Idea.
It is still waiting for authentication. Please find the screenshots.
Please help me here, how I can complete the github authentication.

Hi @birappa-patil ,

We have a few steps for you to check current setup:

First, please check and see that your VSCode and GitHub Copilot extensions are up to date, and update them if they are not.

Second, please go to the extensions tab and search for @Builtin GitHub and see if the GitHub Authentication extension has been disabled. If it has been, please re-enable it, reload, and try again.

If that doesn't help, please reply with the output of View > Command Palette... > Github Copilot: Collect Diagnostics and anything else you've seen that you think might be relevant.

Thanks for the reply. I've updated the Github copilot nightly extension to latest version 1.4.13.4514 and IntelliJ Idea is already upto date.

GitHub Authentication is already enabled. But I see the following idea.
