UPDATE: The Fabric installer works after installing Java 21 with the steps on the documentation, with the exception of "JavaSoft (Oracle) registry keys" not being installed. The reason I didn't include this in the installation is because when I first attempted the install, it gave me this error message: I'm unsure how to fix that, but I did verify the installation succeeded using the Command Prompt: As mentioned at the beginning, the installer works now, but I'd still like a quick explanation/theoretical as to why the installer initially didn't work. It's just odd. |

Description
Following the instructions from https://docs.fabricmc.net/players/installing-fabric, I downloaded the Windows .exe installer file for Fabric (fabric-installer-1.0.1.exe) and opened it, only to be met with this message:
The documentation said that the Windows Fabric installer would use the version of Java that came with Minecraft, but it doesn't seem to have found any Java at all. Highly unusual.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, I haven't been able to find any troubleshooting resources on this.
