As per @jalouke:

it should ultimately be re-made, because I really only drew the version that was originally in the 2U model as a first draft.

critical dimensions within the reaction wheel system are the angles of the reaction wheels

The new requirements are:

  • It has to copy the existing orientations for the reaction wheels.
  • It needs to interface with the OreSat structure. (i.e., it should either attach to a PCB of the appropriate shape or offer protrusions of the same shape/thickness. It should not collide with the slots/connectors of the structure or the backplane.)
  • It needs to be manufacturable.
  • It can't outgas.
  • It should not be affected by UV light.
  • It should probably be 'grounded' to the structure.

I imagine machining it out of aluminum, FR4, G10, or something similar would be best.

I also imagine this is of interest to @JSRoland and @calvin-young.
