For usage of ZFS on headful systems with full desktop environments, it would be useful to be able to notify the user graphically instead of just via email / other third party notification providers. I run ZFS on my laptop with KDE, and I would like to get promptly notified within KDE the graphical session if my drive runs into any sort of issue.
Additional context
I have a simple patch for this written and tested already; I'd like to gauge interest in this feature before I submit it.
