Either the patreon is dead, or the link is wrong. I thought I should point this out.

Offtopic: How is the project doing in general? It looks promising but comitting to a new app is hard. Will it be around in the next 5 years?

He Finn! I killed Patreon about 6 months ago - need to get that link updated. Since Nomie 5 has no cloud services, Nomie 5 will continue to run as an offline PWA until the cows come home.

As for the future, I'm working on Nomie 6 which will offer both a free offline version, and a paid version with data hosted in the cloud using end-to-end encryption.

@brandoncorbin Nice to hear that things are moving along. I assume migrating from v5 to v6 and from local storage to hosted is possible?

P.S.: For anyone else interested in the latest and greatest in nomie development, it seems that the subreddit is somewhat active: https://www.reddit.com/r/nomie/

Small correction: Nomie isn't new. Brandon's track record is pretty great and more than that, there are people I know still using Nomie 3.
