Users have requested that they want to be able to filter for datasets based on whether the data is for procurement by the national government or subnational entities

Can we add an additonal filter called Nation vs. subnational with the following options:

  • National
  • Subnational

The options should be radio buttons.

If radio buttons then we also need an All.

See https://opencontractingint.slack.com/archives/C01H84M900H/p1704399800216419 about a State dropdown for Mexico (and maybe other countries with many subnational datasets).

We will need to add another field (maybe division, since region is taken) to enter the name of the subnational place.

We can then add spatialCoverage to the Schema.org details (e.g. f"{collection.division}, {collection.country}")

Here are the countries with more than 3 publications:

     4 | Honduras
     4 | Italy
     5 | United Kingdom
    13 | Nigeria
    19 | Mexico

UK is national, Scotland, Wales. I think Italy and Honduras are all national. So, we only need subnational for Nigeria and Mexico.
