I downloaded version 2.0 as the first time I am trying this.

On first launch, it said I didn't have FFmpeg installed. I pressed the button and followed the instructions and successfully installed FFmpeg.

On relaunch, YTSage still says I don't have FFmpeg installed. Restarting and reinstalling did not help.

I then installed the command line yt-dlp, which was able to download a YouTube video. YTSage still can not see FFmpeg.

MacOS 15.2

Just tried v4.0. It won't open, MacOS says the app is "damaged and can't be opened". I do not see YTSage in System Settings/Privacy & Security to allow a bypass.

MacOS 15.3.1

The download from that link had the same problem, and I also tried downloading with Firefox instead of Safari.

It looks like other Github apps have the same issue with Sequoia's Gatekeeper, I searched for "sequoia app is damaged and can't be opened github" and saw some other discussion of this (which I did not understand). I used the suggested xattr quarantine bypass and was able to run 4.0.0.

However, it still gives me the same error that FFmpeg is not installed. I ran an update of ffmpeg, and that did not help.
