This issue operationalizes the work described by #2554 for miniooni. We need to invoke check-in for every experiment to ensure we always have fresh richer-input feature flags telling us whether experimental experiments are enabled.

We're moving towards individual APIs for each experiment with richer input needs. So this issue is not a WONTFIX.
