Country Selection Requires Additional Click in Phone Input

Describe the bug
When switching countries in the phone number input field, the selected country doesn't update immediately and requires an additional click to apply the change

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to 'Profile'
2. Click on 'Edit User'
3. Click on 'Phone number input"
4. Open the country selection dropdown.
5. Select a different country
6. Observe that the country doesn't change immediately.

Expected behavior
The selected country should update immediately upon selection from the dropdown without requiring an additional click.
