Recently installed, Version: 1.7.2
Icons missing on desktops, sporadic.

It appears to happen if you use shortcut "to send an active window to a desktop" but have the desktop selected as your active window. After doing this, you can not select the desktop or create new icons. This only effect which ever desktop you process the "to send an active window to a desktop".
Pressing (win)+D brings all the icons and functionality back.

Thanks for the report!

Since the icons are actually just a window, this could happen, but it shouldn't. I check the window name when switching desktops to make sure the icons aren't hidden, but I'm honestly not sure if I check when moving windows around. I'll need to double check this!

Which version of Windows are you running? The name of the icons changes with each version.
