Looks like Postman was not creating a .desktop entry in ~/.local/share/applications. After editing Postman's start menu entry, a copy of the .desktop entry was created in that folder and the dock recognised the app properly.
Not sure if this is an actual issue with docklike-plugin that should be looking for .desktop files somewhere else, or rather with Postman's installation. Also, it could be nice to add to the README what docklike-plugin requires to crate a shortcut correctly.
When running Postman it appears as a cog on the dock, and there are no options to pin it.
I am on MX Linux 21, running
