I cannot pull up a physical map from the pcaps that I have imported.

The physical map is not generated via pcaps. In v3.0, physical maps are generated by ingesting the results of 3 Cisco Show Commands (show running-config, show interfaces, show mac-address-table/show ip arp) from at least two devices captured in a text file. There should be one text file per device. The three commands should appear along with the prompt and the command "show" needs to be spelled out. The rest of the command can be shortened. We only support Cisco format at the current time. The work around if you are not using Cisco devices is to copy the non-Cisco device information into a Cisco device format. In the newer version, we will support the use of plug-ins for ingesting and exporting so users can write plug-ins for different data types.

I tried creating a physical map by ingesting the results of 3 Cisco Show Commands (show running-config, show interfaces, show mac-address-table/show ip arp) from at least two devices captured in a text file and it did not work. For example ingesting 2 Cicso switches with show running-config did not work and provided an error.

What was the error?

Is this still an issue with the latest release (version 3.2)?

Version 3.2 is more forgiving. Let us know if you are still having difficulties with physical view.
