Some methods seem to trigger an unexpected syntax error

import { Resolver, Query } from '@nestjs/graphql';
...

@Resolver((of) => SomeEntity)
export class SomeResolver{
  constructor(
    ...
  ) { }

  @Query((returns) => SomeEntity)
  async someEntity( // SyntaxError: Declaration expected.
  //   ^
  ...
  ) {
    return ...
  }
