Comments:

  • mix of no data and early data: i wonder if the no-data state should be a light gray fill instead of white
  • all early data/striped: That feels a little visually jarring to me. Maybe just my screen, but I wonder if they should be lighter? It's hard to describe. Like, the combination of the thickness of the stripes and the contrast between the white and black areas is uncomfortable to look at, especially when just slightly broken up by the very thin county lines.
