What / Why

We've sunset npm.community however there are a lot of reference to it still in the npm/cli project. There is also a reference to package.community in our README and I'm not sure that our team is active in either the discord server. It would appear we're directing people to someplace we can't field their questions or help them.

  • Changing most of the npm.community links to github.com/npm/cli/issues as we've now opened those back up again for the community.
  • Remove reference to package.community from the README

Where

Present in our code base, and README

Who

  • @npm/cli-team

The scope of this issue has been changed to just updating the README to remove the references to package.community. The references to npm.community will stay as that page is a landing page which can then direct individuals to where they might need to go.
