Possible to template wp-content for all projects #231

Is it possible to use a templated wp-content for multiple projects?
I understand .env can be updated, but this is within a single project. I'm wondering if it's possible to still have separate project files but have a core wp-content folder? Use case for having multiple project folders: the use of child themes and different custom plugins.
