I installed node with ubuntu snap by using
sudo snap install node --channel=10/stable --classic command
but after node -v it shows v8.10.0. Is this okay ?

Have you run snap switch/snap refresh? See https://nodesource.com/blog/announcing-node-js-snap-linux-users/ and https://docs.snapcraft.io/channels/551

I'm going to close this as the core Node.js team do not maintain the snap package. Please post any follow up questions to https://github.com/nodejs/help.
