I will be using this issue to track strictly non-api documentation related pulls from the v0.12 stream. These are generally commits that fix documentation errors or documentation tooling that will need to be reconciled independently of code commits. In other words, these are not updates to api docs that corespond with code changes, they are updates in documentation generation, structure, etc. The issue will be updated incrementally.

AUTHORS is a git thing, right? If it is, I recommend just dropping the AUTHORS commits and rebuilding once converged.

(same with .mailmap)

docs: delete unused/duplicate css files

Hmmm, we didn't do this yet in io.js, should / can be ported.

Other than nodejs/node-v0.x-archive@0c50195, these likely do not need to land. Since we have nodejs/node#1770 already, let's close this issue and track using #1770. Can reopen if folks feel the other three need to land.

I did not cover docs: update api location (nodejs/node-v0.x-archive@b259f24), it may need to land. cc @robertkowalski

Edit: This is because I really have no clue how the docs go up on node.js org.

cc @nodejs/build actually, does nodejs/node-v0.x-archive@b259f24 make any sense to take now or in the future?

Edit: Hmm, not able to link to that. @rvagg?
