Do missing Users block the migration or is something else wrong? #2098

I am to the point that the work item is being migrated but it fails but I am not 100% sure why it is failing... I believe all the fields are the same and the area and iterations are now fully mapped. I know there are some users that I can't add to the target project as they have left the company and no longer are able to be added. Is this what could be causing the migration to fail? If so, is there a way around it? Guessing by the first line of the output below there would need to be some mapping but can't seem to find any documentation about it...

The invalid field object is "Custom.MigrationOrphan" but I don't know why. Ive never seen a Custom field cause this sort of problem.

Is your account in the Collection Admins group?

Yes I am a member of the Project Collections Administrators group.

That field is on both the target and the source so not sure what is happening and why it's being marked as bad. I will have to run it through the debugger again. Any hints on which class I should put the breakpoint?

Could it be that it is a boolean field that was added after a number of revisions so in the first revisions it's null?
