If git is not installed is there a way to pass git commit and author details via ENV variables?
Version: 3.0.0 is installed

Since this library doesn't seem to be supported anymore I fix a bunch of things on a fork if you want to check it out and are still pulling the library into your packages: https://github.com/jtwebman/coveralls-next

There isn't but we can add them. This is a good idea.
