A simple extension for phpBB 3.1 to have control over the forum indexing by search engines via meta robots tag
Clone into phpBB/ext/nicebb/metarobots:
$ git clone https://github.com/nicebb/metarobots.git phpBB/ext/nicebb/metarobots
Go to "ACP" > "Customise" > "Extensions" and enable the "Metarobots" extension.
You can set global indexing parameters in Board settings and explicitly overwrite those values for each forum
- Add an option for subforums to inherit settings from the parent.
- Add tests
- Validate extension and publish it in extensions DB
