I have used both the installer and also copied the source code into the plugins folder, but in either case, the plugin is failing to show up under the tools section in obs…what am I missing?

I have the same or similar problem.

  • obs-midi-mg version 3.0.3 macOS Universal
  • OBS version 30.0.2 arm64
  • macOS Sonoma 14.5

After I run the installer (looks like it worked) and restart OBS, I don't see the plugin in the tools menu.

Edit: I upgraded OBS to 30.1.2 and it is working.
