Auth.js Documentation - Session, SignIn and SignOut

I'm trying to write some documentation about how to use our auth.js provider on our own site, but I'm noticing some docs for "next-auth" with no "auth" counterpart.

For example, these sections of the README:

I'm happy to help out, but I am unsure what the "auth" equivalent is, or if it is still in flux.
