At https://www.microsoft.com/cognitive-services/en-us/Speech-api/documentation/API-Reference-REST/BingVoiceOutput#SupLocales there are some new voices suffixed by RUS.
I cannot find what RUS stands for, but they are significantly better quality.

However, this now means there are more than one option for each Locale and Gender, eg:

en-AU Female "Microsoft Server Speech Text to Speech Voice (en-AU, Catherine)"
en-AU Female "Microsoft Server Speech Text to Speech Voice (en-AU, HayleyRUS)"

Would it be possible to expand the namemap to include the name of the voice to allow selection between the new voices?

Thanks!

Hi, yes, we have 2 options:
a) we abstract it and decide to take the highest quality, in this case we will pick the RUS ones and only keep those in our dictionary
b) instead of ask for language, gender, we should ask by voicename and match what is provided by Microsoft bing Speech, eg. es-ES, Pablo, Apollo or ca-ES, HerenaRUS ...
