Build Failed: .env: line 8: ***: command not found

I have followed the steps in Step 1 and am now working on building the image in Step 2. I am trying to run the "Build Now!" workflow, but it fails shortly after starting. I am building this for a 64-bit Raspberry Pi 4. Any idea as to what might cause this?
