This looks great! And I like the plots you linked to in discord showing that python 3.11 has sped up networkx (at least somewhat -- it's hard to know what to expect with a claim like "up to 50% faster" but it does speed things up.)
This issue is to give me a focal point to learn how to run these benchmarks and to document that process. I'm thinking it will result in a PR to add to the readme file. It will probably be also good to describe which type of tests should go inside a class and which inside a function. And if there are good docs to read for asv we should point to those too. :)
