getting-started without OLM

initial operator deployment is missing the certificate that provides the webhook-servert-cert and manage-metric-tls.

I'm just doing:

git clone https://github.com/netobserv/network-observability-operator.git && cd network-observability-operator
USER=netobserv make deploy deploy-loki deploy-grafana

Hi @bdols , thanks for pointing this out. Doc needs to be improved. make deploy may work only on openshift (because that's what the dev team work with every day). Could you try with make deploy-kind instead? There's actually nothing specific to kind there. It will install and use cert-manager. If you can verify that it works for you, we could rename it in something like deploy-k8s and better document it.
