Replay Parser

A replay parser for Crypt of the Necrodancer: AMPLIFIED, which will store all replays into a database for viewing later.

Building Config File

Copy the config_template.ini as config.ini. Update any of the defaults if your replay folder doesn't exist there. If you aren't sure, remove the REPLAY_FOLDER value, so it reads as REPLAY_FOLDER=. The script will ask you to find the folder and then save it to the config file.

This will not run if it doesn't find config.ini and I am too lazy to make a default :)

TODO

  1. Make script loop indefinitely to continue to pull in new replay files
  2. Add older replay parsing, since it only parses the Amplified full release correctly
  3. Add in co-op replays, but probably not.
  4. Probably a ton of cleanup at some point
  5. Since Chrome is bad you can't run the html files locally, so you'll have to start a webserver some how. Easiest way is to have python installed
    1. Python 2.7 -- No idea
    2. Python 3.7.3 -- cd python-replay-parser; python -m http.server
    3. Once started, open http://localhost:8000/view_runs.html

Replay File Information

For ease of viewing, created a new line for each "\n" present in the replay data. Example is a run that ended in 1-3 on Bard
