Unfortunately, I'm not familiar with building gtk for mac os or homebrew, so I'm going to need some help or some direction for that

i don't think gtk needs to built. homebrew just downloads a list of pre-built dependcies such as gtk into a virtual environment. unfortunately i'm not an expert myself.
