Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Code as implemented utilizes endian.h, non-posix functions.

Describe the solution you'd like
Could custom implement byte ordering in CopyData w/ a few updates. Would need updated handling of the header fields.

Describe alternatives you've considered
Leave as-is, it works.
