The CCRS FSW test team recently did a review of our MM .rec (ITOS) file. One of the findings was that the parameter “offset” used in various commands should be explained more clearly in the MM requirements document.
For the parameter "offset" in the Poke command:
How the command's "offset" parameter works is somewhat-hard to understand in the MM requirements document.
What it appears to be saying is:
a.) If the SymName parameter is not provided, offset is considered an absolute address.
b.) If the SymName parameter IS provided, offset is considered an optional offset value from the address linked to SymName.
The above was confirmed by the CCRS FSW test team lead.
