I was trying to debug why the RSS feed wasn't working in chickaree/web#31 and I noticed two an issues.

The response does not add Access-Control-Allow-Origin header. Setting the header to * is completely safe.

Secondly, when the site fallsback to the proxy, the site returns a 403 for some reason. Any ideas why that might be?

I figured out that the proxy can't handle the // in the URL. I created a seperate issue for that: #565
